How we worship
Our whole lives can be worship as worship underpins all we are as a church community. We come together through the week, every week, to worship together in slightly different ways (due to coronavirus):
This the the normal pattern of worship:
Sundays at 10am
Each Sunday the church building will be open for a socially-distanced Eucharist service at 10am. Things will be a bit different, so you can find more details about some of the measures we’ve brought in here. We aim to live-stream these services on our YouTube channel.
Wednesdays at 7:45pm
A time of informal worship as well as discussion around questions of faith each week between 7.45pm and 9.15pm via Zoom. We are calling these sessions Wednesday Wonderings and hope they will be a space where we can explore and grow together in our faith.
The format will be as follows:
- Opening prayer
- Song
- Bible Reading
- Short discussion
- Song
- Longer discussion on some questions of faith
- Prayers to end
All are welcome, so if you would like to join us, please send us your name and email address and we’ll drop you an invitation.
Sunday and Thursday sermons
Following the pattern of our “normal” services, you can listen to a new sermon every Thursday and Sunday on this site, Apple Podcasts, Spotify or Stitcher.
If you know someone who doesn’t have access to a computer they can call 01452 930100 from any phone to hear our latest sermon (the call will cost the same as a local phone call).
Other bits and pieces
On an ad hoc basis, we upload reflections to our YouTube channel as well as bible stories acted out using Lego characters and some music too.
We also send out a weekly email to members of our congregation – please subscribe if you would like to be added to these communications.
